Established in 1981, the AANA Foundation is a charitable organization devoted to anesthesia research, education and development. The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. The AANA is the professional association for more than 45,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs) nationwide. The Foundation funds scholarships, doctoral fellowships, post-doctoral fellowships, research grants, general poster sessions, oral "State of the Science" poster sessions and doctoral mentorships.

2017 AANA Foundation Golf Tournament Recap

The AANA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the AANA that exists to further education and research and ultimately protects our profession AND BENEFITS ALL CRNAS! Please support the AANA Foundation as it is vital to our profession!
We believe so much in the AANA Foundation that we want to update you! And we are planning some fun and creative new events for next year!
We held our third annual Golf Tournament in July! We had a total of 14 teams and raised almost $3,000 after expenses. 14 students were sponsored by CRNAs, which enabled them to golf and eat lunch for FREE. Thank you for your sponsorships. This event improves every year and we hope to have an even bigger and better tournament next year (Which is tentatively scheduled for July 21 at QUARRY OAKS). Mark your calendar now!
2016 AANA Foundation Golf Tourney Recap
Forty-six golfers enjoyed the 2016 AANA Foundation fundraiser coordinated by NANA. Twelve students were able to golf free, thanks to generous sponsorships from CRNAs. The event raised $2,632 for the foundation, which is nearly $1,200 more than last year.
A $300 Dollar yeti cooler was won by Holly Chandler.
NANA thanks everyone who sent money, sponsored students, sent prizes, and bought raffle tickets. We are so excited already about next year’s event as it will be bigger and better! 2017 will be an 18 hole tournament.
