2020 National CRNA Week
National CRNA Week is the AANA’s annual celebration of anesthesia patient safety and the nation’s nearly 54,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and student registered nurse anesthetists who safely and cost-effectively provide more than 49 million anesthetics each year. Known as National Nurse Anesthetists Week as recently as 2014, the updated name for this popular event helps patients, hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and others become more familiar with the CRNA credential and the exceptional advanced practice registered nurses who have earned it.
2020 NANA Day at the Capitol
During the NANA Day at the Capitol, NANA members will be doing blood pressure checks, delivering items to offices of the state senators, and staffing a display highlighting the role of CRNAs.
AANA Mid-Year Assembly
Be the Voice of the CRNA
Advocacy on Capitol Hill has never been more important. The voices of CRNAs are making a positive, significant impact on U.S. healthcare—from the signing of an executive order to foster a path for practicing at full scope to outnumbering the competition in comments that produced critical changes in Medicare.
Your voice matters. Let’s continue our momentum at the 2020 AANA Mid-Year Assembly in Washington D.C., April 18-22. Save the date! And together, let’s continue our advocacy for protecting and advancing our great profession.
